Shujaat Ali Khan was born on 8th September, 1996 in Islamabad, and had completed his Intermediate (Federal Board). Although Shujaat has been playing Badminton since childhood, he started proper learning of the game at the age of 11 in 2008, in his 1st junior Training camp held in Rodham Hall Islamabad. Moreover, he started playing with his maternal family in Community Centre G7 and Iqbal Hall. Khurshid Ali Khan (Father), Sara Mohmand, Rizwan Azam and Akram Masih were his training coaches.
The 1st professional tournament Shujaat played was the 3rd NBP National Junior Championship in 2007. During his career, Shujaat Ali Khan has performed on several occasions, be it at Junior or Senior level. His one of few achievements are listed as follows:
Member of Pakistan Junior Team which participated in ANA Asian Youth under 15 and under 17 Championship 2010, held in China, Japan.

Case Epica 2014 (Men's Doubles gold medalist)
Jashn-e-Azadi Inter Colleges Set Boys & Girls Badminton Tournament 2014 (Men's Singles gold medalist)
LUMS Badminton open 2015 (Men's Doubles Bronze medalist)
Asian youth games 2017 Colombo, SriLanka. (U-22 Men's Singles and Men's Doubles Gold medalist)
Shujaat's best Men's singles rank has been 33rd, but has dropped to 50s recently. His best Men's doubles rank has been 11th, but has dropped 3 places recently.
Apart from victories mentioned above, Shujaat has pulled out major upsets in past few tournaments. He won against NBP's Captain Ijaz Malla in 2017 at National Championship Karachi in team event's Men's Singles. Moreover, he won against 3rd seeded pair Murad Ali and Hashir Bashir in a rubber game with his partner, Ali Chishti, at Islamabad Ranking in 2018.
During his career uptil now, Shujaat has trained under many professional coaches: Rizky Budi (Indonesian Coach), Akram Masih, Nadeem Javed, Tahir Ishaq, and Rizwan Azam. Sara Mohamad and Rizwan Azam did not only train him, but also supported him through ups and downs of his career. Also, his family, especially her sister, Sara Mohmand, never backed off from supporting him.
The youngster aims to represent his Country at International events and break the records of his mentor, Rizwan Azam (Former National Champion).
