Ghazala Siddique was born on 12th April 1995 in Zilah Bakhar. She did her Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) from University of Lahore and also in Physical Education (Bs Hons) from Lahore college for women university. Ghazala was first introduced to professional badminton by her teacher, Ms Manzura, while she was at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Samanabad, Lahore, at the age of just 16. Her parents were also in favour of that decision. When she started developing passion and interest in the game, she opted for professional guidance from Coach Tayyab Sohail

She started training at LDA Sports Complex Samanabad, however, in her early days of Badminton, she was already into many other games, hence she could not pay much attention to Badminton. As Ghazala started witnessing her talent and capability of improvement, she chose to excel in it. In 2010, she won both WS and WD at Inter-board championship representing Lahore board. Moreover, she dethroned the defending junior champion, Faryal, when she beat her in U-19 Junior National Championship finals and bagged a gold medal in WS and WD. This was her first major victory, and boosted Ghazala's confidence to play future tournaments with even more passion and hardwork.

In 2012, captain of Lahore team, Ghazala, was triple crowned in Chief Minister Cup, clinching gold medal at Team event, women’s singles, and women’s doubles. A year later, she was successful in defending her title of U-19 Junior National Champion in both the categories: Women’s singles and Women’s doubles. Also, she was declared as gold medalist in all the categories (Team event, Women’s singles and Women’s doubles) in Quaid-e- Azam Games. Ghazala had already conquered the Inter-board and her eagerness to win Inter-University led her to bag the title of both Women’s singles and Women’s doubles in the respective tournament. She also received the honor to represent her country in University Team event Championship held in Turkey in 2013. 12 countries participated in the respective tournament and Pakistan was declared as the 3rd best

A year later, she was part of Pakistan team at a Badminton Championship held in Bahrain. Ghazala represented the Team Higher Education Commission (HEC) and won a bronze medal in Team event of the National championship 2015. In 2017, she won a bronze medal in team event (SNGPL) and Women’s doubles in the National Championship 2017 at Karachi. In 2018, Ghazala Siddique became the Mixed doubles National champion and was a step closer to conquer Team event and Women’s doubles. She trained under the supervision of Coach Naeem Mughal for a few span of time. In the same year, she bagged a gold medal in Women’s singles and Women’s doubles in Inter-Provincial games at Charsadda. She represented her country in one of the major tournaments held world wide: Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia

Moreover, Coach Waqas Ahmed invested in her for a year to prepare her for 2019 National event. Under his supervision, Ghazala was able to defend her Mixed doubles title in the National Championship 2019. Also, she clinched a silver medal in the Team event (SNGPL) and Women’s Singles and declared as the best in Women’s doubles. In the same year, she got a silver medal in Women’s singles in the All Pakistan Ranking tournament at Peshawar. In the next tournament (All Pakistan Ranking tournament at Islamabad), the warrior of Coach Mutahir Sohail clinched a gold medal in Women’s singles and got a silver medal in Women’s doubles

Furthermore, in the Pakistan International Series 2019, Ghazala stood on the podium as the 3rd best in the Mixed doubles. She got 1st position in the Team Event (WAPDA) and Mixed doubles in the National Games 2019. She got a bronze medal in the Team Event of South Asian Games 2019. Lately, she participated in the National Championship 2020 where she won a gold in the Team Event, silver in WS, WD and XD. Recently Ghazala became Mixed Doubles (with Larosh Ali) National Champion (2021). In the same tournament, she won 2 silver medals in Women's Singles and Women's Doubles (with Mahoor Shahzad).

Currently, Ghazala is ranked 2nd in WS, 1st in WD (with Zubaira) and 1st in XD (with M. Ali Larosh). According to Ghazala, she would not be able to achieve her dreams without the support of her family and her coaches: Tayyab Sohail, Naeem Mughal, Waqas Ahmed and Mutahir Sohail (current Coach). Moreover, her supporters like Ms Sumera Sattar keep her going in the field of Badminton.

Review of Yonex Nanoflare 270 Speed

The Yonex Nanoflare 270 Speed is a product of Yonex's latest series, Nanoflare , which was released in the year 2019. A resilient yet flexible graphite material, Toraycar M40 and Super HMG provide matchless power and stability for maximum shuttle acceleration. Its Nanocell Neo frame shape provides you with a greater sweet spot, allowing you to have a better chance of middling the shot. In my opinion, what distinguishes this racket from other models of Yonex is that it comes with various weights and grip sizes (which I already explained in my previous blog), allowing you to have a number of choices according to your game style. Yonex launched Nanoflare 270 speed are manufactured in 4U and 5U , weighing 83g and 78g on average respectively. As you can see it is a light racket, so this may not be suitable for an attacking player, however it might be beneficial for defensive players, or those who like to rely on their flat drives. Furthermore, I would advise you to string yo...
