Saad Amir was born on 20th October 2004 in Lahore. The National Junior (U-16) Champion (2020) completed Matric in the year 2020.
Saad developed love for Badminton as he saw his father, Amir Shuja, play at Minto Park. As his father saw potential in his child, he spared his time to train his little warrior. He gained professional training from his father in his career's beginning. In 2016, Saad began playing competitive Badminton and participated in Under 12 All Punjab Championship and came out as the best of all. 2 years later he clinched a gold medal in the same tournament but in different age group (U-16). In 2018, he made a debut on National level. He reached the National Junior (U-14) Championship final and stood on the podium as the 2nd best Boy's Singles player in the country.
In the following year, he represented Pakistan in Dubai Junior (U-15) International Series and reached the Pre Quarter final spot. This international exposure for the young lad boosted his confidence and developed a hunger to achieve his dreams. Saad Amir became the Boy's Singles National Junior (U-16) Champion of Pakistan (2020) and bagged a silver medal in Boy's Doubles (with Raza Ali). Recently Saad Amir won a silver medal in U-17 National Championship 2021.
Moreover, According to Saad, his Family, Friends and Coaches: Waqas Ahmed, Amir Shuja and Nadeem Javed played a vital role to uplift his game. Saad aims to bag a Gold medal in the BWF World Championship for his country.
