Rohaan Haseeb- National Junior (U-19) Champion 2016 & 2017

Rohaan Haseeb was born on 15th December 1998 in Gujranwala. He is currently studying Pharm-D from University of Lahore  (UOL). 

In his early days, Rohaan began as an outdoor Badminton player. After sometime ,he, along with his twin brother, Rohail Haseeb, shifted to an indoor Badminton club: Winpro Club Kamoki. Over there he seeked professional training under the supervision of his father, Kashif Warraich and Shoaib Sheikh


Rohaan, after gaining professional training, began to play competitive badminton. He has had many fruitful outcomes in his competitive career. His achievements are as follows:


  • Gujranwala Junior district Champion (Doubles)

  • Inter collegiate winner

  • District open Runner's up

  • UCP Takra Runner's up

  • National Junior (U-19) Champion in Men's doubles (with Rohail Haseeb) (2016 & 2017)

  • LUMS Badminton open 2019 Champion in Men's Doubles


Apart from the achievements mentioned above, Rohaan has been successful in many local tournaments. Moreover, he has been a tough contender in Men's doubles category in recent times. He (with Rohail Haseeb) beat Ahsan Asif/ Waqas Zahid (WAPDA) in National Championship 2018. In the same tournament, they extended the match till the decider against the current National Champion: Larosh Ali/ Noman Sabir. They also gave a close fight to a higher seeded duo, Murad Ali/ Hashir Bashir, in the 2019 National Championship.

Currently, Rohaan is one spot below his highest ranking i.e 14


Throughout his career, he has come across number of coaches who trained him to become a better player. He trained under Atique Chaudary, Waqas Ahmed & Arvind Verma. 

In the future, the Champion aims to become the National Champion of Pakistan and fulfill his dream of representing the Country at International level.

Sarah Mohmand's Badminton career

Sarah Mohmand was born on 14th June 1984 in Islamabad. She did her Bachelors in Computer science from Hamdard University and Graduate Diploma in Technology from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia.  Sarah, at the age of 16, did not know her hobby would be her profession. She started playing Badminton in Islamabad Club with her friends. However, as her interest grew, she decided to seek professional guidance. The role of her mentor was played by her first Coach, Tahir Ishaq , who, according to Sarah, played a major role in teaching her the respective sport. Sarah made her debut in the National Championship held at Minto Park Lahore , where she reached the Women's doubles final (with Zarina Waqar ).
